I haven't been doing many challenges lately, so I'm entering this at Sir Stampalot July "Anything Goes" challenge and Simon Says Stamp Challenge weekly challenge "Stitch In Time". I also used the technique of Distress Ink and Perfect Pearls for the lovely Linda's Studio L3 Grungy Monday #14 challenge. This challenge is based on the amazing Tim Holtz's March 2008 technique. It was fun to try something new, sorry that you really can't see the shimmer of the wonderful Perfect Pearls in my project.
For this dainty tag, I started with Tim Holtz technique and which included stamping the word "Paris" with acrylic paint. The stamp is from Cavallini. I layered vintage images from Artchix Studio and over stamped the Eiffel tower in black also from Cavallini. There is a stamped parasol and fan cut out for dimension from my friend Lynne. Some hand stitching drawn in, some shiny pearls and sparkling pink german scrap all added details. I highlighted with watercolors. Added some beautiful pink fiber trim from a dear friend Donna with tiny golden leaves. The finishing touch was the sentiment..."Passion for pink, a brilliant idea."
Hope you find your passion this week.
sincerely, gerri

My mouth is watering at your delicate pinks. A sense of decadence about them, possibly due to the women. Fabulous details and glad you were able to use those images. You know to give me a shout if you ever see stamps that catch your eye :)
