Be Playful

Today we are being visited by my helper MaryLou, who has modeled most of my jewelry creations over the years. My creation today is a little flower pin that I will definitely be wearing this summer. The center pin is a little painting palette from Retro Cafe Art which is  on a denim painted rose. Of course it is sparkly, so the paint spots are represented by hand colored crystals. The little brush has glitter accents too. The sentiment reads " Be Playful", something I try to be in my art.

Hope you will be playful this week.
Take care,
Gerri

"Tea Time"

"La Vie Parisienne"

"Star Spangled Fireworks"

To make these cards:

Tea time Card
Using the pretty high tea kit from Gecko Galz, I fussy cut out the tea time image and glued it on the coordinating paper. This was layered on two different colored papers which was then placed on top a scalloped blue card. The embellishments include ink dots, rhinestones, glitter tape, and green Stickles.

Paris thrill me
ThIs card started by using the beautiful female image from the La Vie Parisienne collage sheet. This was layered on green, Gecko Galz Portabella paper, glitter red and finally a gold card. I stamped the Eiffel Tower and added the sentiment Paris Thrill Me. The word Paris was also stamped and layered on gold paper. The last touches were red sparkle fringe, gold German scrap from Retro Cafe Art.

The Star Spangled Banner Card
The image is from the Gecko Galz Stars and Stripes forever and was layered on three different colored papers . These papers were edged with coordinating ink. on top I stamped the fireworks which were touched with Stickles and rhinestones. The final details were ribbon rosettes, silver stars, glitter ribbon , Stickles and rhinestone stars.

Here is the free stamp of a mighty King!
