To make these tags  I Gelli printed the background with coordinating colors and stamping. The delightful Fairy images are from Gecko Galz collage sheet titled Darling Pixies. Little embellishments were corners and a transparent frame. The sentiments are from Tim Holtz and are framed with little papers and frames. Different ribbons bows  were added for a tactical feel. The final touch for me is always Stickles glitter glue to highlight the images with shine and sparkle.

Look Where the Light Shines Bright

To make this tag I Gelli printed the background with Pastel colors. The delightful Fairy image is from Gecko Galz collage sheet titled Darling Pixies. The fluttering shiny pink butterfly stickers were added for dimension. The sentiment "Keep Looking Where the Light Shines Bright" came next. Some ribbon pink edging and a blue mesh bow were added for a tactical feel. The final touch for me is always Stickles glitter glue to highlight the image with shine.

To make these tags: I cut up a floral catalog and glued the flower strips to a tag as the back ground and white washed them. Various lace and tassel  trims came next. The pretty female  images surrounded by frames are from the Gecko Galz Etsy shop collage sheets called Versailles. Extra bits include clear stickers, bee stickers butterfly sticker and the sentiments. The finishing embellishment is always  shiny Stickles glitter glue for a bit of sparkle.

Here are my art pieces of tags all using images from Beautiful Christmas  by Gecko Galz on Etsy that I am sharing with you today:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

To create these tags I used heavy printed cardstock to create a tag base. Next step was to layer paper and the Retro woman images from Gecko Galz Etsy collage sheet titled Beautiful Christmas. Accents include washi tape, cupcake liners, die cut holly leaves, and  a plastic red snowflake,.  Fiber accents include satin bow and Christmas twine  as the bows on the tags.. The sentiments were next  a wood Merry and a felt Merry Christmas. Everything is embellished with  Stickles details for a  glitter shine.

The sentiments were next . Everything is embellished with  Stickles details for a  glitter shine.

Here is a tag I created for you for inspiration:

To create this tag I used heavy printed cardstock to create a tag base. Next step was to layer musical note paper and the Retro woman image from Etsy collage sheet titled Beautiful Christmas...Accents include felt red flowers with a snow flake underneath. Also thin black ribbon, a black Merry and Bright black wooden tag were added. The final embellishment is Silver Stickles details for a  glitter shine.

Today I am so pleased to announce that I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog . Using this month's  August theme of  "Sheherazade ",  I was inspired me to make  a greeting card and a journal pocket with tags.

Here are my art pieces all using images from Gecko Galz " Sheherazade" collage sheet on ETSY, that I am sharing with you today: 

THE WORLD NEEDS WHO YOU WERE MADE TO BE

TODAY IS FULL OF POSSIBLE JUNK JOURNAL POCKET

INDIVIDUAL POCKET TAGS

To make the card I layered cardstock, blue glitter tape, gold dollie and the female image from Gecko Galz Etsy collage sheet Sheherazade. The accents were glitter paint on the halo, gold paint and stickles accents. The sentiment reads
"The world needs who you were made to be."

To make the journal pocket I folded a double side paper and added Blue and gold German scrap and tiny blue rhinestone plus the sentiment Today is full of Possible. The tags with layers with images from Gecko Galz collage sheet, with realistic images, Stickle accents, sentiments, watercolor accents, a moon sticker and different fiber ribbons. Just perfect for my junk journal.

Gecko Galz Month of Holiday Tags

Here is  my art piece, that I am sharing with you today: 

CHEERS

To make this tag I used my gelli plate to print the tag in a blue and white design and hand stamped the figures skating. The woman throwing snowballs image is from Gecko Galz Etsy shop on a sheet called Christmas Misses. The finishing touches were the pom pom white snowballs in her hand, crystal snowflakes and fringe on the bottom. The sentiment "Cheers" on a blue tag and a crystal branch " and glitter Stickles. It was tied with a sheer blue bow.

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Month of Tags

 Hello everybody,

Today I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog . Using this month's theme of "Yuletide Dreams "  I was inspired me to make these Detailed  layered  tags, as it is also tags everyday this month!

To make the first tag I used me gelli plate to print the tag in a red print and hand stamped the snowflakes. I added the big white tissue show flakes next, The cute kids  image is from Gecko Galz Etsy shop on sheet called Christmas Deco Jewel It. The finishing touches were the sentiment-"Merry and Bright" and glitter Stickles. It was tied with a red plaid bow and dangling snow flake fibers.

The 2nd tag was painted red with a green tree. The pretty woman image was from the Gecko Galz Etsy shop called Christmas Misses. The bottom had red tissue paper fringe and wooden holly added. A big Red Merry Christmas was the finishing touch with a sheer red bow.

To make this tag I gell printed the tag in a pink and blue print. I added the paper Joy banner and gold lace on the top. The bottom has shirred pink tissue paper and some gold lace. The pretty image is from Gecko Galz Etsy shop on collage sheet called Christmas Misses 2. The finishing touches were the hand made white tissue wings, gold crown and Stickles sparkle. The last piece was the gold tinsel tie.

Today I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog . Using this month's theme of "All things Dark and beautiful"  I was inspired me to make these Detailed  layered greeting cards and tags using the images from Hocus Pocus collage sheet by Gecko Galz on Etsy. If you really know me, you know Halloween is my  absolute favorite holiday.

To create these, I started with printed or gelli printed backgrounds, next came a layer for under the beautiful witch images from Gecko Galz from the Hocus Pocus collage sheet on Etsy, which I fussy cut. FYI, I just adored them all. Then comes the embellishments like , die cut fence,  die cut web green fiber trim, a moon or black fiber. The sentiments some next and the ribbons for the tags.  I always finish off with some glitter from Stickles.

Here is a Romance themed  dimensional  tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Romantic Little Valentine collage sheet for this stunning couple.  Starting with a  heart shaped tin I layered vintage music paper with a sparkled red heart with the cute couple. A lace heart frame was applied to the surface as well as; a layered a crochet red heart. some crystal hearts came next. The final piece was a recycled clothing tag on some glitter tulle with the sentiment "Love Always"

LOVE is the Only Game Designer Day at Gecko Galz

  Hello everyone near and far,

For the Gecko Galz, I am the featured Designer today:

Here are some simple projects, a greeting card and a large  tag  I made for you using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to the Romantic Little Valentines collage sheet  for the couple images

For the Greeting card :I layered a marble dyed  doily onto little heart paper. I fussy cut out the couple and layered on gold and pink glitter hearts. The sentiment was added last as "Sweetheart".

For the Tag: I gelli printed the background added a red heart ,blue heart, the couple image and XO.  Some blue  gold twine and a crochet flower came next. A little red tag was added that says "Love is the only game that is never called due to darkness." LOL.

Saint Nicholas Tag

 Hello everyone,

For the Gecko Galz 24 days of Christmas tags event and my featured Designer Day:

Here is a Santa themed  large tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Saint Nicholas Digital Collage Sheet  for the Santa image. The gelli print background was made with red and gold paint.  The holly ribbon, the layered snowflake, tiny gold snowflakes,  green pine, Stickles glitter and the red tulle bow came next. 

Last, the "Merry Christmas" tag with lantern was added at top, as the final touch.

Here is a Winter  themed  large tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Winter Magic Card Toppers  collection for this princess and reindeer.  Starting with a gelli printed tag  with glitter as the ground. Layered the  cut out images with blue glitter branches.  The blue and clear rhinestone snowflakes, blue snowflakes, Stickles glitter , a crown, snow flakes trim on reindeer and the blue tulle bow came next. 

Last "Merry and Bright" was added at top.

Beautifully out of place Featured Designer

Hello  friends both Near and Far,

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made two  different tags  for you with the theme of  "Victorian Fantasy". They are  a steam punk themed Victorian tags.

Using the Pretty Victorian collage sheet for the stunning images, I applied them to painted sparkly painted grounds, shiny hearts, a tiny feather , a balloon sticker, metal gears and clock hands were also used. The finishing touches were Stickles, lace, ribbon  ties and the sentiments: Beautifully Out of Place and Say Yes to adventure.

Here is a Victorian  themed  large tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Pretty Victorian collage sheet for this stunning womwn .  Starting with a  floral stamped tag  as the ground, I added layers of a cut out black florals, a 3d black cameo and tint bee stickers. The velvet ribbon, Stickles glitter  and sentiment came last "Smile like you mean it."

Natures Abundance Feathered Design at Gecko Galz

Hi there Art friends,

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made three different greeting cards and also a tag  for you with the theme of Natures Abundance. Have a wonderful time walking thru my woodland creations.

To make all these projects I used  the beautiful Gecko Galz collage sheet Natures Stained glass.

The little Tag started with a garment tag and layered the Gecko Galz image, a stick, an antler sticker and then some wooden and paper leaves.

For the 3 Greeting cards I stated with different patterned paper blank cards and layered the Gecko Galz image, some textured papers, different trims: a leaf ribbon, red rhinestones and gold German scrap. The added elements were paper flowers, paper leaves, butterfly stickers and some Stickles glitter. The water colored sentiments were the final touch.

I have lived and loved

To make this Steampunk tag I hand stamped clocks on a tag and distressed the edges. The Steampunk cat gentleman from the Gecko Galz collage sheet called Animal Whimsies was layered on top. Lots of embellishments like metal gears, flying hearts and a giant watch face came next. A little pointed hand image was also added. The sentiment reads "I have enjoyed the happiness of the world, I have lived and loved."
