So here's my hanging collage sign that says..."Make ART Today". I used. 3 patterned papers, then layered on my rosette with the cute owls that were cut from one of the papers. I added the center button piece that says "ART" in sign language, which is ironic because I am partially deaf! Then added the Make and Today words, blue ribbon, some butterflies, rhinestones and glitter and I had made art for the day
Hope you get to make some art today.
artfully yours, gerri

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome Gerri! I love those owls and the tulle with stickles looks fab! Great piece. I miss visiting all my friends, the remodel is taking up so much time and energy, I make it through my emails only. I have not forgot you my friend, and it was so nice to hear you missed me too. I will be so happy when this is done! We have had a few setbacks and paint fiasco's but we are starting to gain some ground finally, ha ha.Take care and happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is SO great! I totally get the flower rosette. =) And the design with the owls--just Awesome! I'm so glad to see the use of sign language on there as well. I took it for a while, when I was younger but still remember quite a bit. Did you know that in England their sign language is different? They use two hands to form some of their letters. I love that artistic impression brings all cultures together. TFS!
ReplyDeleteThis is just wonderful! I love the owls! :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea and an outstanding piece.
ReplyDeleteWow, Gerri, this is just fantastic! Love the sign language tiles and beautiful colors.
