To make these petite pieces, I started with mini shrines from Artchix Studio, but you could cut some out of cardboard too. I glued on some floral images from the Graphics Fairy for the background and highlighted them with markers. Then the layering begins, with a birdcage transparency, a cute bird image and pink german scrap from Artchix Studio and some word snippets. The sparkle was done with a foil fan, rhinestones and some glitter Stickles. Now that this is done, I can't wait to see what I will get in the swap.
Waiting in anticipation.
Yours truly, gerri.

These are so sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! I love birds - real ones, arty ones (even roast ones like chickens out of the oven!) and these are sooooooooo great! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteVery soft, sweet, and definitely spring, Gerri. Love the fan at the back - gives the shrine depth. Swaps are soooo much fun - gives 'mail' these days a whole new meaning. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous work, Gerri. Donna
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely - hope you get something just as nice in return!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the little shrines. Hmmmm...I'm thinking I need to get a SVG file made to cut some of those out. Oh, why do I have to work when so many ideas are in my head?!!
