Beautiful and fine to behold

As the final days of summer pass, I thought I would get in another mermaid themed card for my 100 Proof Press Design Team post. But be sure, I will probably continue to do mermaids well into the winter. LOL. The 100 Proof Press stamp called  sunburst  that I used in the background actually reminded me of spiny sea urchins.

The mermaid torso was from Artchix Studio and I created the hand cut fish tail. The corners have painted diecuts, buttons, Stickles, red rhinestones and pearls. The background is stamped, painted and dotted. The finishing touches were the mermaids sparkly starfishes, a tiny bow and the sentiment "Beautiful".

Hope you see beauty this week.
take care, gerri

  2. She's got the WOW factor, Gerri. The stamp you used gives her such a unique look. Love the scolloped edges and material in the background. Hope everything is pretty much back to normal at your house now, and the worst is behind you. That way, you can get back to creating! Take care, Donna :o)
