Fit For a Queen consort

For today's 100 Proof Press DT piece, I decided to journey to my favorite place again...Paris, but this time to another period to visit Marie Antoinette. I love the sound track from the Marie Antoinette movie which is made up of New Wave and Post Punk music. The costumes in this movie including the clothes, shoes and wigs were incredible works of art. The book Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser was a great read too.

To make this collage tag I stamped in cobalt blue the 100 Proof Press large gate 5802X  and cut it out. The Marie Antoinette image from the Graphics Fairy was glued to an old Avon blue glass ornament, I had kicking around. lol. All Queens need a scepter, so I used a gold stick pin I made. Some delicate blue bone china flowers and pearls were added to the edge of the glass. The fan and Versailles image were also from the Graphics Fairy. To the fan I added lace and a tiny pearl. When assembling the piece, I added a fluffy pale blue  feather and encrusted the fence with pearls.

Hope your week is filled with all the right riches.
sincerely, gerri
