Day of the Dead Shrine

Today is Day of the Dead in Mexico and All Saints day here. I guess its all about our  love ones  who have passed on and how we should honor them. What better way to do this  if you are an artist to create something colorful and fun! So today, I have a Day of the Dead Shrine using Retro Cafe Art supplies. They are having a Day of the Dead swap too. You  have until November 11th and you can check it out here.

The mini shrine was filled with a  DOTD skull that I painted and added metal rose eyes. The DOTD Star shrine box was painted, stamped, Stickled and trimmed with German Dresden scrap. I added the top piece using a gold foil fan, more metal roses and a skeleton bead.

Hope you will celebrate this day in your own special way.
take care, Gerri

  4. I love your shrine!! I found you through the talented and very nice Donna Parker. Am I lucky or what. So now I subscribe and am a follower. I love your house. Now where oh where in the wilds of South Carolina do you live? I live in the mountains of North Carolina almost on the South Carolina state line. I can tell - you are gonna to be a real hoot to follow!
