Lovers strolling the Boulevard

Continuing with my weekend in Paris theme started by my bookmarks on Tuesday...here's a watercolor painting of how I imagine the view would be strolling down a Boulevard in Paris. While I was running around before painting class, I spied these tiny Paris store front sculptures in our entryway and decided to paint them. My husband and I  bought the first one in Paris many years ago. I really like how the painting came out and will definitely try painting different ones next time. I'm showing them at Paint Party Friday , come have a look at all the beautiful paintings. I've included a picture of out entry way, can you find the tiny sculptures on our little table?

    Another wonderful title post that prepares us for the artistic journey that you will take us on, today a journey to Paris.
    The most amazing painting and what a beautiful home you have. Your home oozes class and it also oozes love.
    I am also a fan of vintage suitcases. I use one to store handbags underneath my bed.

    You've done a great job with the Parisian store fronts - I love the little sculptures and oh my - your table is fabulous!! Please tell me you made it yourself so I know that I could possibly try to do something similar - it's amazing!

    Beautiful painting, love all the details, especially the window in the middle house. Your entry is gorgeous, I love the white wood trim on your risers, I have never seen anything like that. Beautiful home Gerri, really!

    BTW, I have seen white risers I don't think I explained it that well. The beautiful carvings on the white wood are what I have never seen and they are gorgeous.
