Twenty Fourth Tag of Dececember for Gecko Galz

 If you have been following Gecko Galz this month, all the Designers have been asked to create tags. Today's tag I created is all about Christmas, all red and green and sparkly. We are looking forward to the holiday, even though it will be a quiet one this year.

"Wishing you a very Merry Christmas"

To make this tag, I started with Manila tags and Gelli printed the background and added red glitter. The Gecko Galz image from the Snow Much Fun digital craft  kit was added next. Borders of red paper sticker, were added. The sentiments came next . The final embellishments were glitter Stickles,  3d poinsetta flowers  and a tiny holly tag . A tie at the top of shiny ribbon  completed this  festive tag.

 For the Month of December Gecko Galz designers have been asked to create Tags . I have a bunch to share with you today. I couldnt just make one so here are a few. They are so much fun to make!  LOL. Cant wait to use them during the holiday season.

To make these tags, I started with Manila tags and Gelli printed the backgrounds. The Gecko Galz image from the Snow Much Fun digital craft  kit was added next. Borders of ribbon, paper stickers, Dresden scrap or clear printed plastic were added. The sentiments whether on their own tag or applied to the main tag were applied next . The final embellishments were glitter Stickles, Angel wings, stickers, 3d snow flakes, 3d flowers or birds. A tie at the top of shiny ribbon or fiber completed these  festive tags.

To make thisgiant  tag, I started with a gelli printed background. I layered the  plastic flower swirls, snowflakes and the Gecko Galz sweet vinatge image from the Snow Much Fun craft kit. The bottom border, fiber tie and glitter accents came next. The last thing added was the sentiment..."Winter wonderland "

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Day

 As the featured artist on Gecko Galz today.... I will share  two Winter  themed  greeting cards that I created using Gecko Galz images from the Gecko Galz Snow Time digital collage sheet.To make all my cards, for me, its all about layers. I have found that you need a minimum of 5 layers to make what I consider a complete card of visual and dimensional interest. I include the gelli printed background paper, layered paper under the main image , the Gecko Galz image, embellishments of snowflakes, glitter branches, rhinestones, the sentiment,  and finally any stamping, paint, and Stickles glitter.

To make these cards I start with a background whether  spraying a branch stencil or thowing some around. The images from Gecko Galz come next, some layered on pattern paper. The images are from the Dark Dreams or Witches Digital  Collage sheet at Gecko Galz at Etsy. The embellishments come next shreaded paper, glitter bats, brooms, hats, skeletons, cats, bones and a cauldron come next. The last step is the Sentiments and then pen, paint or Stickles glitter for final accents.

To make this greeting card, I layer the Gecko Galz Summer Romance image and the enjoy the little things tag on a brown paper card. I over stamped the trees next. The bear, fire, lantern,mountain and moose were hand stamped, colored and then fussy cut. They were glued to the card for the final touch.

Advice from a catepillar

Today I am the featured artist at Gecko Galz so I am sharing two greeting cards using the theme of Alice in Wonderland for your inspiration.

Advice from a caterpillar.

Queen for a Day

To make the first card I layered a page from Alice in Wonderland, some pink tape, blue lace and black filagree on a blue card, The stamped pocket watch came next and the Gecko Galz image from Wonderful Wonderland came last.
To make the Queen for a day, I layered patterned paper with vintage cutouts from a card game, big heart and tiny cowns. The Gecko Galz image came last layered on tulle. Stickles was the last thing added for a bit of shine,

Summer Lanterns Gecko Galz Featured Designer

Today I am the featured Designer at Gecko Galz. Here are some colorful cards I created using the "The Shine a Little Light " by Geckos Galz collage sheet. I started all 3 with Gelli Printed backgrounds. I layered the Gecko Galz image on coordinating card stock and then added embellishments. All have edges whether lace or paper, themed stickers, Stickles, rhinestones and  the Sentiment were then added to complete these cards.

Here is a card I made for your inspiration. I started with some musical printed paper and added the Gecko Galz image on top from the Shine a little light collage sheet. The embellishments include, sunflower 3d stickers, lace, star stickers , corners and Stickles. The sentiment reads "The best is yet to come"

Featured Artist Day for Gecko Galz Design Team

Today I am the featured artist as Gecko Galz and I have several  creations to share with you, using Gecko Galz Colors of Spring and Papillion Dreams collage sheet. All are very floral and nature driven greeting cards, as you can certainly see.

To make these cards I gelli print the backgrounds and then start layering. The Gecko Galzimages come first, then the dimensional pieces like paper clay  or ribbon. I always paint and add Stickles glitter to my Gecko Galz  images for additional texture. The sentiments come last and I add a little watercolor paint to them too.

For inspiration here is a Natures Bliss greeting card, that I created. The background is patterned paper layered with vintage paper and Gecko Galz Vintage Floral and Butterfly images from Papillion Dreams. A stamped little girl with wings, ribbon and paper flowers were also added. Some sparkly Stickles, watercolor paint  and the sentiment were the last steps.
