Well, the base of this butterfly necklace is made from the center of the Retro Cafe Art Butterfly masonite frame. I painted it with creams and browns and edged it with my favorite black Sharpie pen. I stamped it with lovely Ophelia image from the Ophelia and Friends Stampsmith sheet using Ranger archival black ink. The hand cut text came last and says "Someone is waiting for you." I added it to an antiqued chain and can't wait to wear it.
Hope you have someone waiting for you.
take care, gerri

Hi Gerri
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely to see a piece of jewellery being entered for the challenge as The Stampsmith stamps lend themselves so beautifully to this transition. I've used Ophelia myself before for jewellery and she always looks stunning as she does on your necklace, this is incredibly beautiful and love that you stamped her twice.
Thank you for joining us at TSC, good to see you back with us again :)
Good Luck with the prize draw.
Wishes
Lynne
