Hearts Galore

Hi Friends,
I believe hearts are not only for Valentine's day but are a year round motif. Here are two different uses of hearts on my handmade cards. I used stencils, stamps and even a heart punch.

Colorful June 2018 Gecko Galz Design Team Feature

Hello Friemds near and far,
Today is my feature design team highlight at Gecko Galz. These two cards are quite bright when compared to my usual palette. I enjoyed stepping out of the box this month.
The first called "Flirt" used the Summer Sweetie Gecko Galz Collage sheet and the second is "Be yourself" which used the Aloha Gecko Galz Sheet. Both started with gelli printing a card base then layering the Gecko Galz fabulous image, adding a floral accent, some trim and the sentiment. The final touch in all my projects is some glittery Stickles accents!

Hi Friends,
Today starts the Gecko Galz June customer challenge called Retro Summer. Enter any project with a Gecko Galz image at Gecko Galz blog and you can when a prize.There is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE  product from Gecko Galz!!  

It can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!!  It is up to you!!

Here is my card for some Retro Summer inspiration.

I used a Gelli plate to print the colorful background and layered colored papers . The black paper texture reminded me of lava with the aloha Gecko Galz image added on top.The final touches were the floral lei,  shiny patterned rhinestones and Stickles accents and the sentiment that says Sing to me Hawaii. Gecko Galz Feature Designer May 2018

Hello Friends,
Today, I am delighted to be highlighted on the Gecko Galz blog as the feature artist. I am sharing 3 creations today with you. Two cards below follow the  Asian beauty  which is the May customer challenge theme and then a little tag, just because.
The Love Card was made with patterned paper, stickers and the Asian Beauty then embellished with metal tags and Stickles. The Thinking of you card has a stencil background with an Asian beauty torso and Watercolor and Stickles accents, the final touch is the sentiment.

The same but different

Hi there,

When I find a color scheme I like ....I seem to use it in all my art creations. Here is a Robins Egg Blue, Hot Pink and Yellow theme. I used it to make a "Welcome home "card  for  a wonderful couple and then it popped up in my abstract painting. It's the same but different. LOL.

Colorful Garden Greeting Card

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share a very colorful greeting card I mage lately. I kinda went crazy with my markers but I do so adore it. It was for an artist friend who celebrated her birthday. It was made with some cut paper and a Gecko Galz image. It's beautiful colors reminds me of spring, so Ive included some photos of where we live too.
