Featured Designer at Gecko Galz Oh Happy Day

  Hello friends near and far,

Today I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog . Using this month's theme of " Natures Child"  I was inspired me to make these flowery girl greeting cards,.

Each greeting card was made differently though my general principle is to have a minimum of 5 layers built up on the cards. Starting with paint (gelli prints) or ink on the card stock , Bottom base layer like paper or fabric for the background , Main feature image layer: here it is the Gecko galz women , Embellishments like stickers, doilies, stitching little charms, glitter,  plus  Something other then paper for texture like lace or ribbon and finally, the Sentiment, whether cut out or stamped.

 Here is a greeting card Titled " The Beauty of Nature " ,                              I made for your inspiration:

To make this greeting card I layer polka dot mesh , green burlap on a blank card. The Gecko Galz image from Blossom Girls collage sheet came next. The embellishments were a die cut Lilly of the valley, white German scalloped scrap a paper doily and finally the sentiment."The beauty of nature is everywhere.
