Featured Designer at Geckogalz with Easter Magic

  Hello friends near and far,

Today I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog . Using this month's theme of  "Easter Magic"  I was inspired me to make these cheery Easter greeting cards,.

Here are my art pieces all using images from Gecko Galz "Easter Magic " collage sheet on Etsy that I am sharing with you today: 

To make these greeting card, I layered textured paper with netting on top of a blank card. The shredded paper border came next. The images were added next from Gecko Galz Easter Magic sheet on ETSY. The dimension rhinestones, glitter butterflies, pearl trims and sentiments came last. Enjoy.

                 Here is a greeting card Titled " Happy Easter " ,                                                     that I  made for your inspiration:

To make this greeting card, I layered gold textured paper with netting on top of a blank card. The shredded pale green paper border came next. The Gold urn is a dimension sticker and I added the Fancy egg image from Gecko Galz Easter Magic sheet on ETSY. The dimension eggs, pearl trims and sentiment came last.

Each greeting card was made differently though my general principle is to have a minimum of 5 layers built up on the cards. Starting with paint (gelli prints) or ink on the card stock , Bottom base layer like paper or fabric for the background , Main feature image layer: here it is the Gecko galz women , Embellishments like stickers, doilies, stitching little charms, glitter,  plus  Something other then paper for texture like lace or ribbon and finally, the Sentiment, whether cut out or stamped.

 Here is a greeting card Titled " The Beauty of Nature " ,                              I made for your inspiration:

To make this greeting card I layer polka dot mesh , green burlap on a blank card. The Gecko Galz image from Blossom Girls collage sheet came next. The embellishments were a die cut Lilly of the valley, white German scalloped scrap a paper doily and finally the sentiment."The beauty of nature is everywhere.

The Fun Never Stops

Strawberry LOVE

To make these cards I added patterned paper to a cardstock base. The cowgirl images are all from the collage sheet titled Glam on the Range in the Gecko Galz Etsy shop. The embellishments are strawberry images, fussy cut boot images, bandana ribbon, striped ribbon, netting, stamping and 3d strawberries. There is also striped twine tied on the edge. The sentiments came last with touches of glitter Stickles.

Gals Night Out 

To make this card I started with tan cardstock and layered the horse print paper. Next came the Cowgirl image from Gecko Galz collage sheet called Glam on the Range  on Etsy. The cow girl with framed by Brown German scrap scallops and gold netting. The cowgirl boots that were fussy cut came next and then the sentiment... "Gals Night Out,  some things in life were meant to be shared." The little bit of lace and twine edge  came last.

To make these cards I started with marbleized or gold printed  cardstock and layered gold and blue metallic papers. The stunning female figures are from Gecko Galz Etsy shop  image from the Gatsby Girl collage sheet   and came next. The embellishments were gold Dresden scrap. circle trim, photo corners   and pale blue or silver  rhinestones . The sentiments came last with "Dwell On the Possibilities and Know Your Worth".

To make this card I started with gold printed cardstock and layered gold and navy metallic paper. The stunning female figure is from Gecko Galz Etsy shop  image from the Gatsby Girl collage sheet   and came next. The embellishments were gold Dresden scrap. some dark blue rhinestones and a gold crown. The sentiment came last with the words                    "Own your story".
