Gecko Galz Feautured Designer Be Bold Be You

Hello Art friends and family ,

Today I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog . Using this month's theme of "Beauties of the Far East",  I was inspired me to make these Detailed  layered greeting cards. Please  come check out the Gecko Galz blog and meet all our designers, get free collage sheets and participate with all kinds  of challenges on Facebook too. Here are my art pieces:

"And then she placed the world gently in my hand"

"LIFE IS SWEET"

"Be BOLD Be BRAVE Be YOU"

To make these cards I started with solid card stock and layered the background papers that were hand stamped , gelli printed or printed. The beautiful female images are all from GECKO GALZ Asian Dolls Collage sheet found in Etsy. Embellishments include die cut cherry blossoms, butterfly, butterfly stickers, rhinestones and Stickles Glitter. The three separate sentiments came last.

Here is a greeting card I made for your inspiration:

"Cherish the Day"

To make this card I layered distressed paper on to a blank card. The patterned paper came next topped by the female image from Gecko Galz Asian Doll Collage Sheet found on ETSY. The accents were tiny gold butterflies, pearl swirls and a hand stamped blue vase. The sentiment came last with "Cherish the Day".

Hope you cherish each and everyday,
Gerri
