Gecko Galz Featured Designer Day Sea of Dreams

 Hello Art friends,

Today I am the featured designer on the Gecko Galz blog today. Using this months theme of Sea of Dreams which inspired me to make these mermaid greeting cards. Here are several cards I made for your inspiration  

To make these cards  I started with gelli printed card backgrounds  then layered  Gecko Galz Mermaid  images  from the Oceans Blue  collage sheet . The fishes, turtle and seahorses were from the and Fish camp collage sheet from  GeckoGalz on Etsy.. The embellishments were pearls, tiny starfish, tiny plastic see shells, die cuts, netting  and some tiny 3 D sea items. The sentiments came last. and says Stickles added some final glitter accents.

                                Here is a greeting card I made for your inspiration:

"Mermaid Kisses and Starfish Wishes"

To make this card I covered a greeting card with pastel mermaid scale ribbon and the layered a painted doilie on it. Next the Gecko Galz Mermaid trio image , the shell images and the fish images from the Oceans Blue and Fish camp on GeckoGalz on Etsy came next. The embellishments were pearls, tiny starfish, tiny plastic see shells and some thready fiber. The sentiment came last and says "Mermaid kisses and Starfish wishes". Stickles added some final glitter accents.
