  Hello everyone near and far,

For the Gecko Galz, I am the featured Designer today:

Here are some simple projects, a greeting card and a large  tag  I made for you using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to the Romantic Little Valentines collage sheet  for the couple images

For the Greeting card :I layered a marble dyed  doily onto little heart paper. I fussy cut out the couple and layered on gold and pink glitter hearts. The sentiment was added last as "Sweetheart".

For the Tag: I gelli printed the background added a red heart ,blue heart, the couple image and XO.  Some blue  gold twine and a crochet flower came next. A little red tag was added that says "Love is the only game that is never called due to darkness." LOL.

Saint Nicholas Tag

 Hello everyone,

For the Gecko Galz 24 days of Christmas tags event and my featured Designer Day:

Here is a Santa themed  large tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Saint Nicholas Digital Collage Sheet  for the Santa image. The gelli print background was made with red and gold paint.  The holly ribbon, the layered snowflake, tiny gold snowflakes,  green pine, Stickles glitter and the red tulle bow came next. 

Last, the "Merry Christmas" tag with lantern was added at top, as the final touch.

Here is a Winter  themed  large tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Winter Magic Card Toppers  collection for this princess and reindeer.  Starting with a gelli printed tag  with glitter as the ground. Layered the  cut out images with blue glitter branches.  The blue and clear rhinestone snowflakes, blue snowflakes, Stickles glitter , a crown, snow flakes trim on reindeer and the blue tulle bow came next. 

Last "Merry and Bright" was added at top.

In between the  layers of a cut out images were added the pink glitter branches.  The white fiber, pink pearls, Stickles glitter , a silver star, and the tulle bow came next. 

Last "Merry Christmas" tag was added at top.

Beautifully out of place Featured Designer

Hello  friends both Near and Far,

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made two  different tags  for you with the theme of  "Victorian Fantasy". They are  a steam punk themed Victorian tags.

Using the Pretty Victorian collage sheet for the stunning images, I applied them to painted sparkly painted grounds, shiny hearts, a tiny feather , a balloon sticker, metal gears and clock hands were also used. The finishing touches were Stickles, lace, ribbon  ties and the sentiments: Beautifully Out of Place and Say Yes to adventure.

Here is a Victorian  themed  large tag  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Pretty Victorian collage sheet for this stunning womwn .  Starting with a  floral stamped tag  as the ground, I added layers of a cut out black florals, a 3d black cameo and tint bee stickers. The velvet ribbon, Stickles glitter  and sentiment came last "Smile like you mean it."

Featured Designer on Geckogalz Today

 Hi there dear Art friends both Near and Far,

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made two  different greeting cards  for you with the theme of Creepy Circus. I'm starting to get ready for Halloween, my favorite time of year. I will make 35 different cards for this holiday. Can't wait.

To make these cards I started with Gelli printed cards . The images are from the Gecko Galz sheet called Les Enfants de la Mort found here on ETSY. The layers include filagree stencil, cutout crystal ball, stamped Palmistry images, a cut out snake  and a crystal frame. The sentiments came last...Snake Charmer and Fortune Teller.

Here is a Spooky  themed  greeting card  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Les Enfants de la Mort beautiful dark darlings.  Starting with a  Gelli printed  greeting card as the ground, I added layers of a cut out tent, spider web, poison candy labels poison bottles, candy apple, little ravens and YES! black cotton candy.  The little child from Gecko Galz came next.  "It's a circus out there" sentiment with some watercolor accents were the finishing detail.

Natures Abundance Feathered Design at Gecko Galz

Hi there Art friends,

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made three different greeting cards and also a tag  for you with the theme of Natures Abundance. Have a wonderful time walking thru my woodland creations.

To make all these projects I used  the beautiful Gecko Galz collage sheet Natures Stained glass.

The little Tag started with a garment tag and layered the Gecko Galz image, a stick, an antler sticker and then some wooden and paper leaves.

For the 3 Greeting cards I stated with different patterned paper blank cards and layered the Gecko Galz image, some textured papers, different trims: a leaf ribbon, red rhinestones and gold German scrap. The added elements were paper flowers, paper leaves, butterfly stickers and some Stickles glitter. The water colored sentiments were the final touch.

Here is a Nature themed  greeting card  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko Galz images. Here is a link to Natures Stained glass  Sheet, Starting with a  blank greeting card as the ground, I added layers of music paper, lace, canvas scraps, a transparent mushroom and a butterfly cut out.  The stained glass  image from Gecko Galz came next.  "Create a beautiful Life" sentiment with some watercolor accents were the finishing detail.

Here are some  fun Summer retro greeting cards  I made for your inspiration using the Gecko galz images. Here is a link to Poolside collage sheet on Etsy, that I used Starting with a  greeting card as the ground, I added layers of  pattern paper. The retro bathing woman  image from Gecko Galz came next. Lots of sea themed embellishments came next  both stickers, 3d items, sandals, shells, coral  and waves. Some Stickles glitter and the  sentiments were the finishing touch.

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made two different greeting cards for you with the theme of Dapper Gentlemen, just in time for Fathers Day.

The cards started with printed back grounds, a gold geometric and green vintaged floral, then I added images (a black sentiment postcard, an image of a town). The Gecko Galz Dapper gentlemen images from Etsy came next. Additional embellishments are clear acetate flowers, rhinestone, stickers, black German scrap borders  and finally the sentiments.... One says" Let Life Surprise you" and the other  "Own your dreams".

The cards started with a gelli printed background. The darling women images were from  Gecko Galz Etsy on the collage sheet called Spring Colors. All used lace as an embellishment. Stamping,  3d paper flower, die cuts  and Stickles The sentiments came last, "Be your beautiful self", "You never have too much happy" and "Cultivate kindness".

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made two different greeting cards for you with the theme of Flights of Fancy, in other words... its all about Birds.

Both cards started with a gelli printed background. The bird images were from the Gecko Galz Etsy on the collage sheet called Pretty Birds. Both used lace as an embellishment. Stamping, paper flower, die cuts  and a Shiny butterfly  are other addons. The sentiments came last, "Thanks" and "Love".

To make this card I started with a gelli printed background, then I added the Raven image from the Gecko Galz Etsy shop called Pretty Birds. The next step was to add the floral glitter embellishment stickers. The final touch was the sentiment "See beauty everywhere".

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Mackintosh Spring

 Hello Friends Near and Far,

Today I am the featured Designer on Gecko Galz blog. Here are two greeting cards  that represent Spring but in a different color palette. LOL. Hope it is Spring in your neck of the woods.

To make these greeting cards, I started with a gelli printed  backgrounds and added the image from Gecko Galz collage sheet called "Mackintosh Spring". I over stamped them plus added details  and on one wreath  die cuts. The final touches were the  sentiments "Dreams Can Happen"  and  "Finding Happiness".

Here is a greeting card  I made for your inspiration:

To make this greeting card , I started with a gelli printed floral background and added the image from Gecko Galz collage sheet called "Mackintosh Spring" on some purple paper. Then I added some purple floral leaves  The final touches were the sentiment "Friendship is the greatest gift of all" and Stickles for a glitter accent.

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Unusual Valentines

 Today at Gecko Galz, I am the featured Designer so I will share some Valentines day cards. The special design direction was not to make them the traditional Red or Pink colors!

To make these greeting cards, I started with Gelli printed cards. I added stamping, wax seal and some rub ons . The Valentine  images were from the Gecko Galz collage sheet titled Valentine Sweets . Some glitter Stickles, accent paint and the sentiments came last.
