Gecko Galz Featured Artist

Today I am the featured artist as Gecko Galz and I have two creations to share with you, both using Gecko Galz Color of Spring and Papillion Dreaming collage sheet. Both are very colorful greeting cards, as you can certainly see.

To make these cards I gelli print the backgrounds and then start layering. The images come first, then the lace  or stamped trim. I always paint and add Stickles glitter to my images for additional texture. The sentiments come last and I add a little watercolor paint to them too.

Once Upon a Springtime Gecko Galz March 2020 Customer Challenge

"Fairy Queen"

For inspiration here is a Fairy Queen greeting card, that I created. The background was made with a gelli plate in pastel colors and also some lime green Dragon fly stamps layered with pink lace. Netting and paper butterflies were added also with the Fairy Queen image from the Gecko Galz "Colors of Spring"  collage sheet. Somer sparkly Stickles and the sentiment were the last steps.
