Gecko Galz Featured Designer Flights of Fancy

 Hello Friends near and far, new or old,,,,

Today I am the featured Design on the Gecko Galz blog, so I've made two different greeting cards for you with the theme of Flights of Fancy, in other words... its all about Birds.

Both cards started with a gelli printed background. The bird images were from the Gecko Galz Etsy on the collage sheet called Pretty Birds. Both used lace as an embellishment. Stamping, paper flower, die cuts  and a Shiny butterfly  are other addons. The sentiments came last, "Thanks" and "Love".

Here is a wild colored greeting card  I made for your inspiration:

To make this card I started with a gelli printed background, then I added the Raven image from the Gecko Galz Etsy shop called Pretty Birds. The next step was to add the floral glitter embellishment stickers. The final touch was the sentiment "See beauty everywhere".

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Mackintosh Spring

 Hello Friends Near and Far,

Today I am the featured Designer on Gecko Galz blog. Here are two greeting cards  that represent Spring but in a different color palette. LOL. Hope it is Spring in your neck of the woods.

To make these greeting cards, I started with a gelli printed  backgrounds and added the image from Gecko Galz collage sheet called "Mackintosh Spring". I over stamped them plus added details  and on one wreath  die cuts. The final touches were the  sentiments "Dreams Can Happen"  and  "Finding Happiness".

To make this greeting card , I started with a gelli printed floral background and added the image from Gecko Galz collage sheet called "Mackintosh Spring" on some purple paper. Then I added some purple floral leaves  The final touches were the sentiment "Friendship is the greatest gift of all" and Stickles for a glitter accent.

 Today at Gecko Galz, I am the featured Designer so I will share some Valentines day cards. The special design direction was not to make them the traditional Red or Pink colors!

To make these greeting cards, I started with Gelli printed cards. I added stamping, wax seal and some rub ons . The Valentine  images were from the Gecko Galz collage sheet titled Valentine Sweets . Some glitter Stickles, accent paint and the sentiments came last.

I have lived and loved

To make this Steampunk tag I hand stamped clocks on a tag and distressed the edges. The Steampunk cat gentleman from the Gecko Galz collage sheet called Animal Whimsies was layered on top. Lots of embellishments like metal gears, flying hearts and a giant watch face came next. A little pointed hand image was also added. The sentiment reads "I have enjoyed the happiness of the world, I have lived and loved."

My theme today is Alice in Wonderland, a favorite book when I was a child. I have created a 3d diorama and a greeting card for you on this theme..

That's very Curious...

The Tale of Wonderland

To make the card I started with Printed Card stock and layered different patterns. The Alice image is from Gecko Galz's ETSY shop  called Alices Travels to Wonderland. The embellishments include leaf ribbon, and pink roses. The sentiment says "That's very  curios"   To make the 3D piece, I started with a empty playing card box and added chess pieces and a bord also some cards to the back. In side was an image fiom same Alice  the Gecko Galz collage sheet. On the top of the box I added a teacup with hearts and a paper fan with a red glitter rose. The sentiment says "The  Tale of Wonderland."
