Here is a  Valentines greeting card  I made for your inpiration:

To make this card I started with a gelli pronted background and added this Gecko Galz cutie from the Valentines Sweetheart sheet. The embellishments are white German scrap, white glitter hearts, a heart boarder and thin pink metallic  tape. Some Stickles pink glitter was added last,  as the finishing touch!

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Today with Far East Inspiration

 Hello Friends,

Tody I am the featured artist at Gecko Galz, so I am offerring inspiration with several greeting cards that I have made.

To make these cards, I start by building up the background whether by stamping as in the first card or layering patterned paper. My main image is a Gecko Galz image that I print and then  cut out. The embellishments include ribbon trims, patterned paper trims, shiny German scrap trim, Stickles glitter and paint. The  last finishing touch is the sentiment. Thats my process for creation, hope you enjoyed my explanation.

Here is a  Thank You greeting card  I made for your inpiration:

To Make this card I stamped the background  in black with an all over pattern.I layered on the blue printed paper and trimmed it with Black German Scarap. Next came stamping and fussy cutting out the 2 smaller vases in blue . The large blue patterned vase was from Gecko Galz. The finishing touches were blue stickles and a black painted dimensional   " Thank you"  sentiment.

Twenty Fourth Tag of Dececember for Gecko Galz

 If you have been following Gecko Galz this month, all the Designers have been asked to create tags. Today's tag I created is all about Christmas, all red and green and sparkly. We are looking forward to the holiday, even though it will be a quiet one this year.

"Wishing you a very Merry Christmas"

To make this tag, I started with Manila tags and Gelli printed the background and added red glitter. The Gecko Galz image from the Snow Much Fun digital craft  kit was added next. Borders of red paper sticker, were added. The sentiments came next . The final embellishments were glitter Stickles,  3d poinsetta flowers  and a tiny holly tag . A tie at the top of shiny ribbon  completed this  festive tag.

Sixth Tag of Christmas Gecko Galz

 For the Month of December Gecko Galz designers have been asked to create Tags . I have a bunch to share with you today. I couldnt just make one so here are a few. They are so much fun to make!  LOL. Cant wait to use them during the holiday season.

To make these tags, I started with Manila tags and Gelli printed the backgrounds. The Gecko Galz image from the Snow Much Fun digital craft  kit was added next. Borders of ribbon, paper stickers, Dresden scrap or clear printed plastic were added. The sentiments whether on their own tag or applied to the main tag were applied next . The final embellishments were glitter Stickles, Angel wings, stickers, 3d snow flakes, 3d flowers or birds. A tie at the top of shiny ribbon or fiber completed these  festive tags.

To make thisgiant  tag, I started with a gelli printed background. I layered the  plastic flower swirls, snowflakes and the Gecko Galz sweet vinatge image from the Snow Much Fun craft kit. The bottom border, fiber tie and glitter accents came next. The last thing added was the sentiment..."Winter wonderland "

Gecko Galz Featured Designer Day

 As the featured artist on Gecko Galz today.... I will share  two Winter  themed  greeting cards that I created using Gecko Galz images from the Gecko Galz Snow Time digital collage sheet.To make all my cards, for me, its all about layers. I have found that you need a minimum of 5 layers to make what I consider a complete card of visual and dimensional interest. I include the gelli printed background paper, layered paper under the main image , the Gecko Galz image, embellishments of snowflakes, glitter branches, rhinestones, the sentiment,  and finally any stamping, paint, and Stickles glitter.
